Research Peptide Supplier Evaluation Checklist (Printable)
Published · Last updated · Publisher: ENOS Labs USA
How to use this checklist
Use this one page checklist when reviewing any research peptide supplier, including us. Each line is something you can verify from documents for the specific lot you receive: a matching lot number, a named laboratory and date, a mass spectrometry identity result, an HPLC chromatogram with method conditions, and clear storage and research use terms.
Lot documentation
- Certificate is specific to the lot number printed on the vial
- Testing laboratory is named
- Analysis date is shown
- Original laboratory issued document is available on request
Identity
- Mass spectrometry result is reported
- Observed mass is shown next to the expected mass
- Modifications (amidation, acetylation, salts) are stated
Purity and content
- HPLC chromatogram is shown, not only a number
- Method conditions are printed (column, gradient, wavelength)
- Water content or net peptide content is reported where available
Handling
- Storage temperature is on the label
- Packaging protects from moisture and light
- Shipping method suits the compound
Terms
- Clear research use only terms
- No health or treatment claims about research compounds
- Contact details for documentation requests
